Allergies

A food allergy is an abnormal response of the body to certain foods.

Food allergy causes an immune system response, leading to various symptoms ranging from general discomfort to very severe reactions.

Any food can cause an allergic reaction, but just eight foods cause 90% of these reactions: milk, egg, wheat, soy, corn, nuts, fish and shellfish.
