Los Savoiardi (also called Lady Fingers) are a kind of sweet, dry, light, spongy  and finger shaped biscuits.

They were created at the end of 15th Century, during the Savoy Court, in order to smother with attentions to the King of France. Afterwards, they were called Savoiardi and became the Court oficial biscuits. The biscuits were particularly appreciated by youth and were offered to the visitants as a typical product
